Lost Ark: The complete guide to player property and housing

You and your estate (NPC, controls, Hotbar)

After suppressing the evil in Lutter and placing Prince Tilian on the throne, making him king, you open a quest to get your estate/stronghold.

You will find a golden quest outside the palace, given by the royal porter. Here you will get the song Hearth and Home. (Select f2 to find your choice of songs) You will receive your estate by accepting the quest from here by becoming a lord/lady.

You can ride around your estate by pressing Alt+V.

You will go through a guide to research, create laboratory items, and send your ships during this time. By the time you’re completely done, your stronghold will be at level 5 with new recipes to research in your lab. Make sure you gather materials quickly to upgrade your buildings, such as the crafting workshop and the estate level.

This way, once your workshop reaches level 2, you can start crafting large health potions.

Crafting three pieces costs 15 Lost Ark gold.

Let’s go over the basics… Just in case you don’t know how to get back home. Press F2 on your keyboard and select Song of the Blessed Land (keep in mind this may change after NA/EU release)

When you first arrive at your estate, you will find yourself at the docks and walk through a small screen to introduce you to the new user interface. There is an edit pencil with your mailbox, and in-game currency in the top left corner right below the calendar panel. Here you can change your island name to any other name.

NPCs around your estate

Let’s talk about the platform leading to your estate. Here you will find four NPCs standing around. Let’s take a quick look at what each is up to.

The most important NPC on this platform is the Traveling Trader, which changes every 24 hours—located under the white tent. Each traveling merchant brings different items. You’ll see resurrection feathers, sailors, ship blueprints, and more.

You have a resource exchanger sitting by the stairs when you first arrive. Here you can exchange collection mats for others you may need.

Next up is the NPC Orders Exchange. By leveling up your estate, you will receive various seals or orders that can be exchanged for various items that will help you craft on your island.

You can receive these Orders not only by leveling up but also by sending your ship and crew to your fleet headquarters.

There are three orders: First Order, Order of the Hunters, your Golden Seals.

The second Order is called the Soldier’s Order, a bronze seal. These seals give you toolboxes that you can use to create cosmetic items around your estate to help you level up.

The last Order is called Scouter Orders. These Green Seals will help you get more Hunter and Soldier Orders. In addition, you can buy a blue crystal called a sparkling stone, which will help you create a blue tripod replacement powder&#

The last NPC in this area is called Recipe Exchange. Here, you can use Orders to buy Recipes to learn to create new items. It has three sections: Life, Food, and Real Estate.

Good stuff, especially for life skills!!!

In your estate, you can find the usual NPCs that you will find in any city, such as repair, post office, auction house, warehouse keeper, and even a fashion designer. Now let’s talk about the not-so-common NPCs that you don’t see outside your estate.

First up is Kelin, the object exchanger. I know it makes me think of the miser who has everything at hand. Kaelin has three different categories of items that can be placed on your estate: furniture, buildings, and food. All this was using your Seals for payment.

The next and most important to me is Dolores. She crafts the items you learn through recipes and leveling up in her workshop. This lovely NPC allows you to create potions, health potions, destruction bombs, all those amazing items you get in the login rewards she can create. Also, after all, she can create Arctius Crystals, which you will need later. She can also create vessel details and much, much more.

The next NPC in the block is Ostuni and the order board. This NPC is in charge of your naval missions. He gives you quests to help you gain experience to level up your estate. In addition, you can send a team of sailors and one pet on the boat of your choice to complete the mission and receive rewards.

The next NPC is in the training area; she is Master Ancilla. Once you reach level 53 and complete the quest called __, you will be able to train one character that has reached level 50 to gain experience below your highest level character.

There will be a fork in the road to your property. If you follow the path, the cobblestone and dirt paths will connect. Near the boulder is a very tiny NPC named Felicia. This NPC gives you quests from time to time, depending on your class level.

Last but not least is Adele, she stands at the gate of your estate and is basically in charge of everything around when your character is away. She will give you daily quests to help you level up your estate.
